If you already are using an "activated" Pioneer 151 profile, do you have to pay $25 again for this profile?

Does this new Profile allow full access, including the ability to change settings, to the Pioneer 151 "service menu"--- or are you limited to only being able to see the hours and alter the masks?

Why have a REFRESH button, if you are telling us not to push it?

Full enchilada

Unfortunately, the refresh button cannot be disabled with the current ControlCal version but it's on the list to change. If you used it, the controls (Input and Side-Mask Level) would just turn red, not a big deal.

I am still not sure. A previously registered 111 owner does or does not have to pay again?

Using this new ControlCAL panel, do you need to know special codes or procedures to make and save changes to the service menu?

Can you make and save panel picture settings changes to both ISFccc and non-ISFccc AV modes? Can the changes be made to affect all modes globally and/or individually?

Can you easily reset the changes you made, except for "hours on", to factory settings?

Can you make finer adjustments to picture settings using this new premium ControlCAL panel than you can using the premium ISFccc ControlCAL panel?

What useful adjustments can I make to my panel that I can't already do using my activated premium ISFccc ControlCAL panel?

Enough questions for now.

Thanks,

wattsup

This profile has nothing to do with the isfccc controls, this proflie gives you access to the sm and allows you to check hours and change the side-mask. There are other things you can do, I suggest you only use this profile to check hours (a must have imo) and change the side-mask level. You cannot change the side-mask or check the hours with the isfcc profiles or even get to the sm.

Can you go into further detail on "There are other things you can do." Unless these other things are useful, I think I will pass on this profile -- costs too much for such limited benefits.

most shouldnt' be in the sm anyways, for some, they know the benefit of the options available.

Since most models have all the controls needed in teh user menu or the isfccc interface, hours and side-mask really are the only ones except for the crooks that want to reset the hours and resell their plasma.

Can someone else try answering my questions?

If you are a calibrator and afraid to answer such questions, get over it. If you are good, you will get plenty of business. I am trying to break through the "mystique" of calibration for the regular person -- including myself. Education is a consumer's best tool in making purchase decisions whether it be hiring a calibrator, or purchasing software and hardware tools to do one's own calibration. I refuse to do business with anyone who can't or won't explain to the customer's satisfaction what service or product they are promoting.

I see this forum as one way to share calibration knowledge with beginners and experts alike. If you don't want to provide help and information, that is your business. But please just acknowledge that you are trying to create an unfounded mystique about calibration and that we, the general public, are too stupid or can't be trusted with knowledge. I am highly educated and am quite capable of learning the "ropes" of calibration. It is a smart person who is willing to ask the "dumb" questions that many are afraid to ask.

If a person, after reading posts in this forum, decides that he does not want to do his own calibration, so be it.

If a person, after reading posts in this forum, decides that he would rather hire a calibrator, so be it. At least he will be able to understand what is involved and will be in a better position to make a wise calibrator selection.

If a person, after reading posts in this forum, decides to neither attempt calibration himself nor hire a calibrator, so be it. But at least he will have a greater understanding and appreciation of the "science" and "art" of panel calibration.

Let's work together, beginners and experts alike, to make this forum an open source of calibration related knowledge. and let's enjoy doing it.

Best regards to everyone on this forum,

wattsup

I see the Panel time (000397H 41M) but do not see the MTB. This is on a PRO-111fd.

I experienced the same thing with my 111 as well. Only the Panel time was displayed but no sign of the MTB after scrolling through the pages of the SM. Anybody have an explantion for this yet?? Turbe? Display Harmony?

I want to monitor the temperature of my 151. I believe this profiel will let me do tijs. Can I control the temperature the fans turn with this profile? If so is there a list of codes for this? I do see the temperature -97 and 87 and the facts that the fans are stopped. Does anybody know what the ranges of temperatures that are ok for the 151?

I need to know these things to build in raitnal cooling control for hte system prior to summer.

Hi and Welcome to the Forum.. :hiya:

Yes, for the KRP-A's, you can activate and adjust/calibrate the ISFccc Interface. You need to use the 9G ISFccc Regions1 Display Profile Set for ControlCAL.

See: http://www.controlcal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=64

There are instructions for checking the hours - but not for changing the SIDE MASK LEVEL.

How do you do that properly?

Also, I don't get the MTB time either...I only get Panel Time.

For me Panel Time is 1963H 9M at time of this post.

There is another section on the service menu which lists:

P-Count: 521 Times

and

MAIN SUB: 3660H 39M

What do these mean? Could Main Sub be the MTB? I doubt it - cause that would mean I have my PANEL ON more than 50% of the time!

Any help with these issues would be appreciated!

Thanks!

 I though I had that in post 1, I did now, sorry :(

P-Count, power cycles
MTB plugged in I think

Panel time is the important one.

Hi everybody ,

to avoid a cheat I need to know the usage counter of my new? Pioneer LX5090H ( Europe-Italy ).
I have founded this software and I have decided to use it to resolve this bad situation.............

I have read this thread and I have registred ControlCAL ( with a donation ) asking , as suggested , in the contact form , to activate the 9G Kuro TV Special Display Profile .

I have done this yesterday.............How many time it takes to have an answer ?
I have this monitor from one week and I can not power on because I need to view the usage counters............. ; )

Thank you very much !

Hello everybody. I have a little "BIG" problem with my kuro. orizontal PANNING and motion blurring.
I wonder if this is a common problem and if not, what the content of special display profile set consists of; is there an option to control or reduce motion blurring and or panning? My PDP LX5090 H suffers of motion blurring on high speed (but not too speedy also) scenes and images are too fast to keep the focus on the moving subjects into those scenes. It's a problem. If there's no room for this in the special display profile set, I need help to solve the problem in some other way or through some other "magic" profile set to add to my control cal if there is one.
thanks to everybody.
