Hello,
I saw from different posts that your ColorCal application allows to modify the color parameters for a specific factory colour setting. I'm interested in this because of the High Brightness colour mode of the HC4900. I want to start from this mode as User1 and then adjust contrast/brightness for each primary color in order to get the best contrast ratio and colour temperature out from my PJ without sending it to C4H.....Is there a a place in this forum which i can follow instructions ?
I know that i need to get ColorCal and connect the Mits to my PC through RS-232.
After, i don't know ho to modify this specific setting in the projector.
Thanks for your help
David

I would write down you current 4900 settings.
Use the Serial Cable that came with your Projector.

Does your computer have a Serial Port (Male DB9 Connector which has 2 rows of Male Pins)? If not, you will need a USB Serial Adapter like a Keyspan or our USB Serial Adapter.
Is your computer running XP or Vista?

Sorry Turbe but there is something i'm surely missing.
I got the last version of ControlCal.
I need to refresh, then write down my settings...and then i'm lost !!
All i want to do is to get for the Color Temp user seting the High Brightness mode as a start to tweak from there by myself.
Thank you for your help

You can only adjust/check values for User (not High Brightness)...
