Please note that my set is + red not + green as is seen in most 151s. When I am able to use the meter again, I will do some energy save calibrations.

I have Color Facts 6.x and was loaned a good meter for a while. Here are my results for pure on my 151 for my + red set usiing my panny 35 and the 709 dvd as a source. There has been significant loss of blue in the past 300 hours. My settings reflect thus. I am attching the D-nice results on my system (after 500 hours) and mine. The DSE has gone almost completely. The fact that I needed a lot more blue may be related to this. I do not know if +8 is not good for the set. Perhaps if I had started with all settings at 0, another-less extreme solution would have been achieved. I started with D-Nice's settings and followed Color Facts suggestions from there. I then found my set looked too red. After a search of settings in AVS I found that D'Nices seetings were for + green sets (majority of sets) thus explaining the red shift that D-Nices settings gave m eThis is a work in progress and I will update as I get better. I only have the meter for a very short time so I will need to focus. See my isf night settigns for a solution that leads to a bit lower blue-very close to Vega's.

Based upon D-nice's settings- here are the changes. I went back and redid this to get the blue value down. I also changed the C and B to get the white 100% = ~ 31 for isf night It is now 31.76 ft l and the 10% gray as close to .65% of of that (it now is at .18 ft L) leading to a gamma of 2.25. This is a work in progress so I will update frequently. Both day and night are very close to 6500. The charts are attached for isf night. Day is very similar. Comments are appreciated.

night April 17 ~842 hours
RH = -3
GH = -3
BH =+7
RL --2
GL = -1
BL =-3

C=26, B=1

I changed the CMS a bit. R was right on so the color level of 3 is fine.

R=0 C=-2
Y=2 B=-2
G=2 M =-2

All is right on except for blue which is quite close.

I put these settings into auto except for changing advnaced to smooth

Day

I found D-Nice's settings rather bright and have not yet decided how best to use this setting. I have set contrast to 40 FT l and calibrated from that from that. D-Nices' settings can give one a lot of brightness- I measured over 45 ft l with D'Nices settings.

Contrast = 33 Brightness = 1 Color = 3

RH =-1
GH= -1
BH= +8

RL= -1
GL= +1
BL= -1

Color managment is the same as my isf night

Auto I use the day settings with power save one. It is very difficult to get power save to get good gamma results due to the brightness and contrast limiters these modes impose. Never the less auo and my auto settings seem to work well in power save one.
