For a PRO-111:

Is it possible special setting can be entered with ControlCal to take advantage of the xvYCC Color (aka, x.v.Color) and Deep Color processing which Blu-ray players are doing and can deliver via HDMI 1.3?

I know Blu-ray discs are encoded as 8-bit in the sRGB gamut, and that there's with no expectation the BD spec will be expanded, let alone any content from broadcast, cable or satellite sources. (AVCHD and some PS3 games will.) It would seem x.v.Color and Deep Color after-the-fact processing are solutions in search of a problem.

But, Blu-ray players DO offer this in what might be termed a color version of resolution up-scaling and motion interpolation.

Just wondering if there were custom setting for a 111 to better display xv & Deep?

As far as I know, no Pioneer screen supports X.V.Color. They do support 36bit Deep Color, though. There is no special setting you need to take advantage of it: just enable it in your player and AVR (if you have one) and the extra bits will be used to better process the Color Space conversion, thus reducing any Chroma Upsampling Error there might be.
