Whrn appling sillysally's settings for the OPPO BDP-83 and the PRO-141 in controlcal I get errors for only to settings. I can not change the sharpness setting from 0 to -9 and the screen setting from 2 to 0. All other settings have been changed except these 2. Any ideas on how I can get these last 2 settings to change?
Thanks
Mel N.

Make sure the Input is configured for Video and not PC.
Also, are you sure you got into the ISFccc Interface after pressing START CALIBRATION? You should get a Dialog stating this and you should see the ISFccc Menu text on the screen.
Basically, after you press the START CALIBRATION Button, post what message you get.

Hi Turbe
I'll start from scratch again since I wasn't able to reply to you on the ControlCal forum.
These are the steps I'm taking during my set-up
A) I start ControlCal
B) I press the Power On button
C) I press the Calibration Start button
- I get the pop up window stating that "Pioneer C3 Calibration mode is Enabled"
D) I select Input 5 and press the Set button
- I get the pop up window stating " Force input change in ControlCal"
- I press the Yes button
- I get an error in the ControlCal v1.41 window stating " Received error code"
E) I press ISF NIGHT MODE button
F) I open up the file for part 1
G) I press the Refresh button
H) I change the control settings as per sillysally's ISF NIGHT MODE
I) I press the send button for each control setting
- All settings are changed except the Sharpness setting where I get an error in the ControlCal v1.41 window stating "Received error code"
J) I press the Save button
K) I open up the file for part 2
L) I press the Refresh button
M) I change the control settings as per sillysally's ISF NIGHT MODE
N) I press the send button for each control setting
- All the settings are changed except the Screen Size setting where I get an error in the ControlCal v1.41 window stating "Received error code"
O) I press the Save button
P) I press the End Calibration button
- I get a pop up window that states " Calibration mode is disabled
- When I press Yes I get an error in the ControlCal v1.41 window stating "Received error code"
Q) I press the Power off button
R) Done
Now if I go into controlCal and go into my ISF NIGHT MODE and refresh I get all the correct settings except for Sharpness and Screen Size.
For Sharpness it will only stay at 0
For Screen Size it will only stay at 2
Any other control setting like contrast wil change to whatever i want
For my 2 problem controls if I adjust anything for a setting I get the error in the ControlCal v1.41 window "Received error code.
I hope I didn't leave anything out.
I did try twice to respond to you in the forum but by the time I reached the end of my long and winded post ( same as above ) and pressed the send message button I was told to long in, but I was already logged in.
Whatever, I hope you can help me out. I PMed you with my phone number if that is easier.
Thanks again
Mel N.

On REFRESH, what was SHARPNESS Set to (before moving the Slider)?
The Screen Size / Zoom / Aspect Control is dynamic, it isn't saved and can be changed at anytime with the Owner's Remote Control (also Input Signal sensitive). The Control is in the Display Profile (P2) for convenience - I wouldn't be to concerned on this Control.
Are you Inputting a Signal during this process (i.e. 1080p/24, 1080i or 1080p)?
The Monitors are finicky...
Also
Make sure the Input is configured for Video and not PC.

Thanks for getting back to me Turbe
The input signal is set to video not pc
I do not have any signal on while inputing settings. Should I?
I can live with the not being able to set the screen size in ControlCal but why have the setting there. For the Sharpness: That setting has always been at zero. Moving the slider or a direct input into the box (send and save setting), makes no difference the number will always go back to zero when I go back to the ISF NIGHT MODE and press the refresh button.

You do need an Input Signal for some Controls to function properly (Screen Size is one since it Input Signal sensitive).
Just watch a movie (or use a pattern disc) while you are entering settings.

Thanks Turbe
I was able to change the sharpness but not the screen size. I'll try again tonight.
