We have 2 40v3000s at work, and while calibrating the set, I noticed there are white balance settings in the user menu, but there are no specific RGB Cuts and Drives in the service menu for grayscale calibration. Using the white balance settings in the User Menu to set up grayscale does not work. it sets the grayscale really nicely, but it adds a green push...which is not correct, so If anyone knows how to change the RGB cuts and drives inthe service menu, please feel free to add the procedure here.
Info I received from a very experienced calibrator is that the user controls are the gray scale adjustments, but that can't be...once grayscale is set there, all colors are off (apparently white balance is different than grayscale).
on the bright side, the primary and secondary colors are almost spot on, which is really nice considering no CMS on the v3000.
