have a diffrence of curved gamma between dvd HCFR and DVD AVS HD 709

I give you my material plasma pioneer KRP500A+playstation3, I use a eye one pro, the software hcfr and controlcal. Here, I have a problême with my average gamma. I am explained I puts on ISF DAY all my gam at 0 cont35/brig0, high&offset with 0 (I keep the same adjustment for 2 measurements) and I launch a measurement of grey scale with dvd HCFR and then another with dvd AVS HD 709. Result moy gam to 2.2 with HCFR and 2.27 with AVS and biensûr I do not have the same alignment of curves RVB, it is necessary to decrease the values of high&offset with the AVS HD 709 compared to the dvd hcfr.
Somebody could explain me why this dfférence. I explained it by, the dvd hcfr is in sd tandis the dvd avs hd 709 is in hd, therefore the moy gamma and the alignment of curves RVB can't be identical, but am this are well that?
Which dvd to use HCFR or AVS for my calibration for the visionnage of the bluray and the dvds?

Use AVS HD 709 as your PS3 should be converting colorspaces properly when upconverting DVD's.

Of course, AVS HD 709 for Bluray too.

But why this diffrence of average gamma ? Which APL 10%pattern to use? the large window or the small one.

If you have choice between Small and Large Window Sizes, use Small on Plasmas.

When I make my measurement of gray with AVS HD 709 I use smallest fenestrates which are planned for software HCFR. What frightens me it is which on the forum that with all gamma with 0, the user of plasma pioneer have gamma with 2.2 and not with 2.27 like me, if I want to have gamma with 2.2 it is necessary that I put +1 on all gamma.
However I followed your instructions of the use of a eye one pro with software HCFR.
Do you know them parameters to be put on the PS3 with the KRP500A?

I think 2.26 - 2.28 should be target.. so 2.27 is great...

I understand dvd hcfr is in rec601 while dvd avs hd 709 is in rec709, therefore it is normal that i have different on the high&cutoff with hcfr i have RH-4/GH0/BH3/RO-2/GO0/BO0 with avs RH-3/GH1/BH0/RO-2/GO0/BO0.
