Does this happen on any source, any Input?

Yes .
I have tried diff inputs , diff dvd player , diff hmdi cable , sd dvds ,the line is still there , the line cannot be seen on all black screens , the line is one pixel wide , 12" high , which is exactly half the screen height , always there but harder to see on darker screen pics . it is bright red on green screens , the line does change colors depending on the colors on the screen .

Man I hate to get this 101fd repaired/replaced , it is calibrated by UMR and has the best PQ of any Flat panel I have seen , I have a 151 and this 101fd has a lower MLL. If I get it replaced or repaired I may have to get it re-calibrated and what worries me more is that it may not have the lower MLL I Have now .

I wonder if Best Buy will exchange it for another 101fd after 5 months ?
Thanks Mark

You could try BB but I don't think they would after 5-6 months without the extended contract.

Next is Pioneer Service :(

This is a little eerie, but the day after you began this thread I noticed a pixel-wide line on my 150fd, starting at the bottom and going halfway to the top. Here is a link to my thread on AVS where I got a lot of advice.

In a nutshell, I had two authorized Pioneer repair places take a look and both places said that the entire panel needed to be replaced. Pioneer was absolutely no help because it was 4 months out of warranty.

Hopefully Pioneer was a little more accommodating since it sounds like yours is still under warranty. I would love to hear an update, either here or on AVS, on where you are with repairing your panel.

Good luck!
