"Display's ISF level not compatible with this profile"
What does this mean? Also might someone be able to tell me why "Power ON" doesn't power on?:please:

If you can't even Power On/Off the Display with the buttons on the Pioneer Profile, it's most likely your serial cable and/or your USB Serial Adapter (or its driver). See:
http://www.controlcal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=174
If your have our USB Serial Adapter, did you install our driver?
Lastly, your Pioneer could be setup at the wrong baud speed... I would need to know the display model.
You need to be able to Power On/Off before you START CALIBRATION.

What OS are you using?
What COM Port did the driver assign to the Adapter (instructions were linked with the driver download)?
Did you configure ControlCAL to use the same COM Port (MENU | SETTINGS | PORT SETTINGS)?
Lastly, with your Pioneer, verify the Serial Port ID No. is set to All (Home Menu / Control Setup / Serial Setting / ID No.Set=All).

1. Windows vista basic 32bit
2. The driver assigned COM1. I switched it to COM3 since that was the USB port I was using. Once I did this I no longer got the COM error.
4. It is set to all

Hi,
I'm having the same issue with ControlCAL 1.45 and a PDP-LX6090H updated to the latest firmware. I'm using a USB-RS232 adapter which has already worked on many other occasions, so it can't be that. I'm running Vista and the COM setting is fine - I have even checked the Pioneer's port settings and they're correctly set to their deafult value of 9600 baud.
What could it be? Is it possible that there's an incompatibility between the newer firmware and the ControlCAL display profile?

No issues with the f/w, make sure you are using the Regions1 Profile.
Will the display power on and off with the buttons in the Regions1 Profile?

Hi Turbe,
turned out I just had to install a newer version of the driver for my USB-RS232 adaptor. Before I did, the Kuro wouldn't power on and of through ControlCAL but everything went smoothly thereafter :)
