Turbe 12-12-2010, 12:04 PM Hi, See: http://www.controlcal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=120 I replied to your email as well.. dsskid 12-12-2010, 03:06 PM Thanks Turbe. Greatly appreciated. Seeing black now. RamGuy 04-11-2011, 06:45 AM Hmm.. I can't enter calibration mode on my Pioneer Kuro LX5090H at all? Running ControlCal 1.45, loaded up profile C3 Region1 v0.4 for my LX5090H EU model but there is no communication whatsoever. I'm running a USB / RS-232 converter with the drivers installed and I've checked both the converters settings, ControlCal settings and my LX5090H settings and they all seem to be accurate both still I can't start calibration neither power on or off using ControlCal? Turbe 04-11-2011, 09:01 AM If you cannot even Power the Display On and Off with the buttons in ControlCAL, most likely it's the cable and/or the USB Serial Adapter (hardware or the drivers) - assuming you checked the port configuration properly in ControlCAL and the Display itself. Until you can Power the Display with ControlCAL, you might as well not waste time trying to start calibration. For the cable, you need to check it with a multi-meter and verify pin 2 is connected to pin 2 and pin 3 is connected to pin 3 on each side. More info: http://www.controlcal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=174 ControlCAL supports the Keyspan USB Serial Adapter and our own.. if you have another brand, it's up to you to figure that out. PotatoSlaw 07-24-2011, 05:51 AM The Region 1 download says "file not found". Turbe 07-24-2011, 09:12 AM The Profiles are installed with ControlCAL v1.50.. just download and install v1.50. PotatoSlaw 07-24-2011, 03:44 PM The Profiles are installed with ControlCAL v1.50.. just download and install v1.50. ahh, thanks nab1030 09-02-2011, 08:49 AM ControlCal is AWESOME!!! It did exactly what I needed it to do!!! Very nice Job!! tittaz 11-10-2011, 05:19 AM My Kuro has a new life thank's you!! Ragnarok 12-28-2011, 07:15 PM This software is great. much better than then using the telnet commands pike trying to program a old commadore 64 and computers of that era. Any slowness is clearly down to the TV not the ControlCal software. You need to be patient wait for the TV to catch up with what's been sent to it. I seriously doubt it ever will be faster. Unfortunately I have a dark red glow on blacks on no input untill the panel turns itself off and often very viable on dark movies or the black boarders on movies wider than 16:9, control cal doesn't appear to be able to adjust 0ire :( The setting may not even exist in the ISFccc within the TV so I maybe stuck with doing crazy things in the service menu( not recommended) or talking to somebody who really knows these TV's inside and out and maybe sending the TV for repair or replacement. I really hope it doesn't come to replacing it there is nothing else in the UK at the pioneer last generation level but that's what they seemed to suggest. Now if I ever get my Blacks sorted I will be getting my TV calibrated by ether buying a meter or getting a local pro to do it. robertw11 01-11-2012, 08:27 PM Excellent program, the tv looks amazing. I thought I had an issue with the gamma points, I would set my gamma points for day, then switch to night, and my day settings would be back to default. Like a dope I wasn't saving them lol. Anyways, quick question, I had my tv on the input I view all my material on (input 6), are the isf settings only set to that input since that is the input the tv was on before I went in and adjusted my settings? thanks, rob Turbe 01-12-2012, 05:29 AM Hi, Yes, there are three ISFccc memories (isf Day, isf Night and isf Auto) Per Input. danni 01-15-2012, 08:51 AM Hallo, I can't download this file: ControlCAL - 9G Pioneer C3 Display Profiles Regions1 v0.4.zip from the first page of this thread. Is there an alternative host where I can find it? Turbe 01-15-2012, 09:29 AM It's installed with ControlCAL v1.50. Ken Ross 03-24-2012, 01:59 PM Hey guys, I've got ControlCal v1.41 installed for my Pioneer Kuro 9g (Pro151). I've used it in the past with great success with the included profiles. However, I've now downloaded the "Pioneer Kuro TV Special v0.01" for the purpose of finding the hours on my display (I'm selling it). It indicates that even though my other profiles are fine, with this one I get an error message that says "ControlCal has not been licensed to load this display profile". Does anyone have any ideas. I can't even see how I'd pay for activation of this license. Turbe 03-24-2012, 05:49 PM I replied to your email Ken.. |
