Hi,

I've got my first panasonic calibration coming up(TX-P55VT30E) and I'll be using controlcal V2.

I'm wondering which mode is best for calibrating the panasonic?, controlcal gives you a couple of options in the "mode" dropdown menu. Or can I select the CCC isf day/night mode when connected to the panel?. Like on the pioneers?.

I'm also not familiar with PNL BRIGHT, C.A.T.S and CONTOUR EMP.

Some info would be greatly appreciated.

Dimitri.

Yes, the ISFccc Interface is accessed using similiar steps as the Pioneer (START / END CALibration). Your Model doesn't have those 3 options you list and you can safely ignore them in ControlCAL. Remember to go the the MISC Tab and press the CONNECT button (after you can POWER ON / OFF the Display with the buttons in ControlCAL) ---- ContolCAL will detect the EURO Models and change to EURO Mode (using CONNECT button).

Read the emails I sent you, there are step by step for ISFccc, another email for tips and one for Euro Model help (about using the Connect Button).

Email me if you have questions.

kanedo, I use 2048 and remember you have to highlight pro settings under custom and hold the red button down on your remote for a few seconds to get the vt30 to wait for connection.

turbe, I just saw the info about the optional firmware, should I install it?

I would be interested to know if there is any experience with ControlCAL controlling 55/65VT30A models, ie Australian panels. I note that they do not have an RS232 port.
