Thanks! I'm anxious to give these settings a try.

I do have one question. If I don't need the light output that these settings produce, can I just lower Contrast a bit without adversely affecting the other settings?

Thanks again!

Why do you always have sharpness at -15 as opposed to -10 or -5 or 0? I'm just curious. I must admit that I kinda prefer it at -10 myself. Can you expound why I'm such a bad Kuro owner for this

PS I input your ISF night settings and am using it right now while watching the Penn Ohio game. Nice as usual.

I certainly cannot speak for D-Nice, but I believe that setting Sharpness to -15 effectively turns off edge enhancement. Edge enhancement is a big no-no to many enthusiasts!

Personally, I do not like any edge enhancement when watching DVDs or BDs. However, I do like a little when watching OTA TV and cable. So my sharpness settings are -15 for my BD/DVD player, -7 for the component input (OTA HD Tuner), and -7 for analog cable (TV/RF input).

Hey I don't want any artificial edge enhancements either but I DO want some kind of edge.

My my whole thing is depth beyond all. The more depth the better even at slight sacrifice to other picture elements.

D-Nice you're a freak of nature. Your settings on my 151 are a lot better than my old settings that I fine tuned by hand. I don't know what you did with RGBCMY settings but that seemed to fix any of the grayscale tracking problems I was having. Especially the ISF-Day setting, the grayscale is so flat it's unbelievable.

The only thing that doesn't match up with my tv is color. The correct color setting for me is +1. Measuring using 100% and 75% color bars I get too high of a red reading with anything more than +1. I don't know though, you were saying that you've never seen a 151 that didn't need a +3 setting right? Weird. I hope ColorHCFR isn't give me an incorrect reading.
