Turbe, What happened to the freq slider bar for the 9G non-elites for V1.5? Is there a new method to enter 72hz values?

There shouldn't be that many options with the installer. What Windows version are you running?

Edit: I'll email and ask as well.

Windows XP. The 3 options are

Modify, Repair, Remove. It won't install unless i choose one. I chose the first since i have no idea what any of those mean anyway, it installed but the folder is empty.

It's funny cause i downloaded the program before but i deleted it because it didn't have any of what was said this version to have-

+Additional Display Profiles installed Automatically.
+Display Profiles now located in the "Display Profile" folder under ControlCAL's installation folder.

So i wanted to try downloading it again. I don't even remember how i downloaded it the first time.

What email did you send to? I didn't get anything.

Yes, it sounds like you had ControlCAL installed previously...

Select Remove.

Download v1.50 from either Host A or Host B, links in Post #1 here:

http://www.controlcal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1

The User's Guide is also linked below those two Host Links. I also email step by step info and tips when I email the Key.

I emailed on the 4th... I'll PM you the email address I used.

Can you check your spam folder? I'll also re-send that email.

Ok i got the email.

I'm going to try and download it again. I'll let you know if it works.

Also which cable to get from this list?

http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&key...l_8vzkjhgh32_b

I assume the second one? But it's only 6 feet. I need at least 12 feet.

Those cables do say Straight-Through and Amazon can be good to deal with on returns if it isn't.. but as you said, you are looking for something longer.

The Mitsubishi Display Profile is just the internal / built-in one. I'll email you some more info.

Also, before you buy the cable, check here for more information on the proper serial cable and type:

I read that thread before. Thanks. So it's female to female db89. That cable on amazon doesn't seem to seem to come in any other sizes. Do you see any other on there that would work?

I'll check my email for your message.

I'm going to have to put this on hold as my computer decided to start acting up. The mouse and keyboard bizarrely is not working. Just my luck.

Looks like i just need a new mouse.

Before i get the key from you, Turbe, i want to read trough the step by step and a few other things to make sure i know what i'm doing. What's the worse that can happen if i do something wrong? I see you have a warning when loading CC.

If you are just going to activate, access and adjust the ISFccc Interface, it's the calibration interface, it is not the Service Menu.

The Service Menu is another matter though there are instructions for checking hours and changing the side mask.

Ok. I already have access to the service menu through a harmony remote. I just use it to check hours, I don't do anything else. So it's not possible for something to go wrong from the calibration menu? Sorry if I'm being overly paranoid.

Anyway. Still looking for a longer cable. I wonder if Radio Shack might have some?

Another thing, I know what ISF day and night is but what's auto?

With electronics, something could happen at anytime.. Sh*t happens.

The ISFccc Interface is a calibration / pq adjustment interface with additional memories. We've been doing this a long time.

Thanks Turbe. I'm going to get the key from you after i get a cable.

I also wanted to ask why is the ISF options not showing on the profile extras window. It's blank. Will those be available after i activate the profile?

Just want to make sure everything is good and it's not my computer before i purchase anything.

Yes, when a v1.x Display Profile is loaded, it will populate and/or change the Controls and Buttons as needed.

It does list Straight-Through (and it's F/F DB9) and Amazon has a great return policy if it isn't.

Obviously, I can't make sure you get the right cable from Amazon or any other reseller. Users have ordered (not from that link specifically) in the past what is listed as a straight-through and a null-modem is sent.
