I've just been watching tv regularly for about a year on my ST60. Can I use this guide to calibrate my tv or should I use a different method? Do I still need to do the slides process? Thanks in advance for the advice.

Default European VT60 settings

Will this procedure harm my device and can I revert them if I should need to? Like reset all. (The settings I obviously can't reset the aging)

Do you know of any European reference settings that you think I should take a look at instead of D-Nice's?

Someone asked about European version and got a PM with some "helpful information" by a mod I think, what information was this?

I just registered so I will try to find my way around here and maybe PM the guy regarding the secret differences between TX and TC versions.

Ty for any help.

I will probably try D-Nice settings even if they are not specifically designed for EU versions and may have some slight imperfections UNLESS you guys deem it wise I don't try them.

Thanks yet again and good night, see you tomorrow.
Hi,

Did you have any luck getting an answer to your questions? I'm exactly in the same situation.

Thanks,

Hi. I have recently bought 65STW60. It is European model of ST60. I was not aware of calibration just pay attention for static images for avoiding burn in. Yesterday I began to use slides but my TV's usage arrived 78 hours and I am curious about if I should use slides for next 100 hours or I should end to use slides when my TV arrived 100 hours total usage time. Will it be effective although I watched TV for 78 hours with the various content?

I just had the main brains of my VT60 replaced and now my picture quality is not what it was. Is there any need for me to run color slides again for a break in period? I've had this tv for a year and a half and my wireless LAN went faulty so Panasonic required that the main board and LAN be replaced. It's been a week now and my picture quality is no where near what it was before the replacements. Hoping someone can guide me

No

Time for calibration or how about at least doing the basics with a tweak disc.

It seems that I do not have sufficient activity to download the zip file provided for the setting calibration from D'nice. How would I be able to go about acquiring the privilege of download the zip file to calibrate my new Vt60?

thanks in advance.

you should not have an issue, you just need to be logged into your ControlCAL Forum account, which you are if you posted in this thread.

Can you try again? Do a save as and download and save the file to your computer first before extracting.

I just bought a display model ZT60 and it had been running while on display. Is it still worth running the slides before applying the settings of D-nice? Will running the slides make a difference with the proper burning of the phosphors or is it too late to run the slides? Can I apply the calibration settings of D-nice even if the TV has over 1000 hours on it?

You may want to run the slides to check for bad/stuck pixels.. don't worry about running them longer. You can try his (or another user's) posted settings, very easy to try different ones with ControlCAL G/VT30 Edition v2.

To get the best from your display, get/do a proper calibration, ControlCAL is also used for that (for for backing up calibrated settings).

Sorry, maybe its offtop..
After calibration with calman ISF profiles on VT60, I get Professional1 and Professional2 profiles. After calibration's finished if they will be renamed to ISf Day and ISF Night accordingly?

Biggriff, I just checked and downloaded the VT60 files attached to D-Nice's post without issue and I see the settings formatted.

I'd suggest you do get controlcal, it's so easy to load the settings, make live changes, back those up, try different combinations
